S.O.S specialise in database-driven websites - this type of website stores details in a database in order that the information on the website can be updated at any time through the use of online forms.  All that is required is a PC with internet access.  If a website is database-driven, there is a much greater potential for accessing the data as required by the customer.  Our database-driven websites are never 'out of a box' - these sites are always designed and customised as per the clients requirements. 

We have developed database-driven websites for car dealerships - for examples, please visit www.maxwellmotorsford.co.uk and www.kenhope.com.  These sites have their own secure admin area where online forms are used to enter details of each vehicle and upload photos as required.  The forms also give the facility for changing the details if mistakes have been made or the price reduced and for deleting the vehicle once it has been sold.  Search forms can be incorporated too if you have a high level of stock / products.  if you are a car dealership and are happy with the aesthetics of your existing website, we can incorporate the Used stock list and online forms into your existing design.

We have also built a database-driven community website for the Berwickshire Community Councils Forum (www.bccf.info) which enables members to add events, news items, upload minutes of meetings and to engage in online conversations regarding predefined subjects. 

All database-driven websites are developed using Microsoft's programming language, ASP.Net to access the data and all data is stored in a secure Microsoft SQL Server database (which offers more security than MS Access).
